Explore Nature’s Edge
Interface Hospitality finds nature continues to influence color trends & design inspiration. Introducing Nature's Edge Palette.
Interface aspires to be the proving ground for a new industrial revolution. By demonstrating that there is a better way to a bigger, more legitimate profit, we offer the world an undeniably improved business model that can serve as a paradigm for others to embrace.
Redesigning Our Products
Interface Hospitality challenges assumptions and brings elegant approaches and innovative technology to the design of modular carpet for guest rooms, corridors and public spaces. By posing different questions, we developed a more holistic view of the impacts our products and processes have on the planet. This has allowed us to be more strategic in minimizing—and ultimately eliminating—the environmental impacts associated with our products.
Interface Hospitality's parent company Interface, Inc., shook the foundations of the petroleum-intensive carpet manufacturing industry when it committed to become the world’s first environmentally sustainable—and, ultimately, restorative—company.
Environmental Product Declarations
We are committed to transparency and our Environmental Product Declarations, or EPDs, for Interface and Interface Hospitality products ensure that carpet tile specifiers can make an apples to apples comparison when looking at environmental attributes.
Although Interface Hospitality continually strives for greater sustainability, every phase of our carpet tile’s life cycle—from harvesting raw materials to manufacturing, shipping, vacuuming and end-of-life recycling—results in the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. So we calculate all the GHG emissions for the entire life cycle of our products and purchase verified emission reduction credits to offset them. We call this Cool Carpet™ and it comes standard on all Interface Hospitality products sold in North America.
Why Interface Hospitality?
We offer exceptional products and performance with an added benefit to the planet. At Interface Hospitality, our focus on innovation keeps propelling us – and our industry – forward with smarter, more sustainable flooring solutions without sacrificing performance or aesthetics.
TacTiles Glue-Free Installation
With more than 20 million square yards installed since 2006, TacTiles is the proven glue-free installation system for our modular carpet tiles.
Biophilia is the theory that humans have a biological need to connect with nature and that this connection affects our well-being, productivity and relationships. It gave rise to biophilic design, an offshoot of the sustainability movement that seeks to integrate nature and structure, even in the most urban spaces. At Interface Hospitality, we use design to bridge the gap between these seemingly divergent environments.
Observing the organic rhythms of a leaf-strewn forest floor inspired us to devise i2, an innovative advancement in modular carpet tile design. Rather than make each carpet tile the same, they vary in patterning and coloring within one style and colorway.

Shape Your Floor with De Stijl
Looking back at historical design movements, one style struck a chord with hospitality product stylist Sarah Pelham in relation to Interface Hospitality’s product dimensions—De Stijl. De Stijl was popular from 1917-1931 and was built on the geometric principle of straight lines, squares and rectangles. Interface Hospitality has developed a collection of square and rectangular products that work together as building blocks that allow you to create your own floor using a combination of sizes.
