Redesigning Our Company
In 1994, at age sixty and in his company’s twenty-second year, our founder and Chairman Ray Anderson steered our parent company Interface on a new course—one designed to reduce our environmental footprint while increasing our profits. His bold new vision was to create the first enterprise to become truly sustainable.
Redesigning Our Products
Interface Hospitality challenges assumptions and brings elegant approaches and innovative technology to the design of modular carpet for guest rooms, corridors and public spaces. By posing different questions, we developed a more holistic view of the impacts our products and processes have on the planet. This has allowed us to be more strategic in minimizing—and ultimately eliminating—the environmental impacts associated with our products.
At Interface Hospitality, we go beyond merely offering products with recycled content to actually reclaiming used carpet in order to convert it into new. As we design our products, we carefully consider their ultimate destination, doing whatever we can—including partnering with other carpet reclamation companies—to ensure no reclaimed carpet ends up in the landfill.
Why Interface Hospitality?
We offer exceptional products and performance with an added benefit to the planet. At Interface Hospitality, our focus on innovation keeps propelling us – and our industry – forward with smarter, more sustainable flooring solutions without sacrificing performance or aesthetics.
TacTiles Glue-Free Installation
With more than 20 million square yards installed since 2006, TacTiles is the proven glue-free installation system for our modular carpet tiles.
Observing the organic rhythms of a leaf-strewn forest floor inspired us to devise i2, an innovative advancement in modular carpet tile design. Rather than make each carpet tile the same, they vary in patterning and coloring within one style and colorway.
